We take care of all the little details including the glassware and the nitty gritty of relevant licensing and insurance. We are based in Vancouver but can hitch-up our wagon, Rita, and travel throughout British Columbia.

I am interested in hiring The Little Margarita Wagon, what’s next?

Submit an inquiry through our website Contact Us page or go old school and give us a call 604-830-RITA (7482). We’ll check our availability for your date and learn more about your event and vision.
Based on the specifics and details of your event we create a custom proposal. We send this proposal along with our service contract, for your review. But don’t worry, you can always tweak the details leading up to your day.
When you’re ready to book our services simply sign the contract and send us your deposit. Once we have those, you are officially booked!

How much is the deposit?

The deposit is $500, this amount does go towards your total bill and secures the rental and date.

How is the cost calculated?

Cost is based on:

the type of service you would like (e.g. Rita, Bev or just awesome bartenders);
what refreshments you would like to serve (e.g. signature cocktails, crack and pour or a combination thereof);
the number of your guests and how thirsty you think they will be; and
how long you would like us to be there.

Once you have confirmed your final details and go over any personalized touches you wish to include, we then send a final invoice. We will provide a shopping list for your alcohol purchase with quantities.

What happens on event day?

To create the special magic for your event we will be on-site at a pre-agreed time, set up, and make sure everything is chilled and ready to go. Once the event has wrapped we pack up the remaining alcohol and place it in a location designated by you.

Do you have a liquor license?

Due to BC Provincial Regulations, we are unable to provide and or purchase liquor on your behalf as we do not carry a liquor license. We are a dry-hire mobile bar and bartending service.

This means we provide everything except the alcohol; however, our services include a consultation and a shopping list of our preferred liquor vendors so you can purchase beer/wine/spirits to accommodate any budget.

Are you insured?

Yes, we carry liquor liability and general liability insurance.

Do you offer tastings?

Yes, we offer tastings. We love to use fun and fresh ingredients in our cocktails. At the tasting we will sit down, sip on different cocktails, and come up with your signature drinks. Please note, liquor must be provided by client/host.

Which drinks can you serve?

We serve premium cocktails, wine, champagne, beer, cider, soft drinks, sparkling water, and various innocent drinks (aka mocktails). Please let us know if there is something else you would like to serve, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Do you rent out your wagon without a bartender?

Yes, if you would like to rent Rita as a wallflower in your photoshoot or video it is possible. However, Rita is our baby and needs her handler.

Will your wagon, Rita, fit in my venue?

Size really does matter. Our wagon, Rita, requires a flat surface to set up on, as well as sufficient clearance to load and unload with our tow vehicle. Rita, our vintage inspired wagon, dimensions are:

Length = 15’ (4.6m)
Width = 6.5’ (2m)
Weight = 7’ (2.1m)

What size is Bev, the chic bar cart?

Bev has smaller curves and her measurements are:

Length = 48″ (122cm)
Width = 24″ (61cm)
Height = 42″ (107cm)

Can we move your trailer once she is staged in the agreed upon area?

No, for the safety of your guests we are unable to move Rita once she has been staged.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a $500 non-refundable deposit to confirm a reservation, the remaining balance is due one week from your event day. All cancellation requests must be made in writing. No refunds will be granted if the request is received fewer than 30 days prior to event.
